Liberty Bell Open

Last month I played in the Liberty Bell Open. I won 4 games and lost 3 games. 7 games in 2 days was intense. The next tournament that I play I will make sure to have more preparation. Overall I am 7-3-2 in the 2 tournaments I have played in the past year. I will post some of the games when I have time.

Chess Tournament Preparation

I decided not to spend my free time studying the evening before my first chess tournament tomorrow. Instead I decided that I wanted to create a t shirt to wear tomorrow. I will likely wear long sleeves in case it is cold in the tournament hall but I wanted to represent and kill time the knight b4 (chess joke).

Chess on Youtube

I have always enjoyed playing chess but had gone 15 plus years without playing regularly. Once I started playing again at Clark Park, I wanted to improve my game. After a couple of summers I only slightly improved so I turned to YouTube and found Agadmators chess channel. This chess channel inspire me to begin to formally study and practice. When I first found his channel, I believe he had 100k subscribers, he has since grown to over 400k and now has the largest chess channel on YouTube. Check out one of his videos below and let me know what you think.
