George Floyd

We may have come a long way but we have a very long way to still go.

My soul hurts after watching a video yesterday from Philip Defranco regarding the end of George Floyd’s life. Watching it, it seems casually and callus despite knowingly being filmed and the pleas of the bystanders.

It’s a very traumatic video to watch.

Please Hug you loved ones. Talk about #GeorgeFloyd with family and friends and make his story be heard. We need to do better.

Please separate how George Floyd’s life was ended and the riot response, they are separate subjects. Rioting bring more immediate attention than peaceful protest but also shifts the focus away. Focus on George Floyd’s life and his death first and foremost. As the riots subside don’t let them overshadow peaceful protest and this tragic and unnecessary action.

Like Father Like Son Electronics

I have older MacBook Pro that Jess has been using but the battery is so bad that it only works while it is plugged in. So I order a replacement battery on Amazon. The battery came with a nice message and a disposable mask .

I open the computer which I’ve had for a couple of years after my friend use it for 6 years. There were a couple of German Shepard Hair. I’ve have taken apart Xbox and PS4 before so I figure I’d be able to handle this.

I was able to remove the old battery carefully and getting the new battery in. It took about an hour and it works

Final product
